3D and motion graphics showreel 2010
We might have got too carried away with our current project that we forgot we actually did something else prior to it. We compiled some of our works in this simple showreel. These works comprise of our successful deals with our clients such as CIMB, GITN SDN BHD (a TM company), JOSH LIM & ASSOCIATED, TWINGLY AB SWEDEN, MEESHA SUKIRA, PHARMACEUTICAL SERVICES DIVISION (MOH) and IRATEC SDN BHD, among others. These are mostly motion graphics works, with some 3Ds slotted in between. In this showreel we sampled from our portfolio parts of the works that range from quick low budget types to lengthy contract government projects. One is good for cashflow and the latter for long term revenue, useful for our expansion. And everything in between the two. Whatever your requirements, we are here to listen and do it.

1st Company Trip (last part)
No, this isn't one of those ghost hunting episodes you see on TV. Neither these are hyper-realistic multi-textured detailed phantom conjectured polygonal modelling with astral dimension wire-framed 3D rendering of gravestones. Well, we would have been hunting some ghosts had we been in that graveyard during the night, with infrared cameras and if we were brave souls.

Test Render in 3DS Max
It took 7 hours to render just one 3D still image scene. Can't imagine how long it'll take to render a whole animation. Looks like our aim to go for full HD animation might have to be abandoned. Actually, it's still too early to conclude anything. Afterall, we will be getting new machines this month. Or next month. Or next next month... We pray hard. As for now, we have completed modelling of two houses, rumah Tok Ku Paloh and rumah tele and the latter has been fully textured and rendered. Probably this was the most important day of our visit. We entered Kelantan and into Kandis district. After a night sleep at a humble resort looking out to a very beautiful beach, we took off to only about less than a kilometer away to Kandis Resource Center. This place is run by Puan Rosnawati Othman, the wife of the late Nik Rasyidin who is an avid woodcarver and a keris aficionado.

Today, I came across a very famous quote. It was inspiring to say the least. A growing company like Axisthink, the urge to find for new ideas is overwhelmingly high to put us barely inside the competitions. Let alone beat them. While we already have a good network of clients, it's not necessarily telling us that we will do just as good for more years to come. At times, brain freezes. We moved up north to Besut before going up further to Kelantan. The journey took a few hours of the day so we can't help limiting the destination to just one for this day. Two actually if we count the short pit stop we did at Balai Seni Wanpo before reaching Desa Ukiran Kayu in Besut. In case you are wondering why a multimedia company is even interested in organizing a study trip to the museums like kindergarten kids have once a year? It was a research trip, to find as much material for our current project. The details of the project remains not to be disclosed at this moment (don't ask) but we need those cultural elements and motives as well as the background information to be the ingredients for our product. Message from Human Resource Dept.
The more the merrier...so the saying goes. We were torn between adding some more inches to our belly or inviting more people to fill up the additional space in our office. Considering the two of us already reach their max allowance for additional growth, any contribution from the last person will not do much.so we decided to go for the latter option.
The office is too quiet at the moment, too empty, too much unused junk, even the 3 in 1 nescafe never seem to go out the first packet of 30s. Yes, we are hiring.
