AXISTHINK Creative House was a combined brainchild of three gentlemen who feel hesitated to spend their lifetime working for other people. Committed leaving their stable daily job in December 2008, Refa, Muaiz and Zafee formed Arc-Degrees, a company that jump started their activities in multimedia business, particularly in 3D architectural rendering and animation (more on our product in the next post). The situation wasn’t all too rosy in the beginning. Crawling in the dawn of recession was tough. Being a small fry, it was hard to get attention from developers at that time when development sector was hit hard by recession. There were barely enough jobs to make their ends meet. The three cast-a-ways soon found themselves losing their precious bodyfat, as they can’t even afford a plain rojak without sotong for lunch.
Ideas were not among the things they were losing, as every other entrepreneur should not in any situation. In the midst of the blankness, the blueprint of an old plan they had during their university days suddenly resurfaced from between all other piles of mess. Then Mdec came into picture, which seems to have the solution they needed, a platform for that idea to take off. Mdec provides grant for entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas for. This was a then or never moment for team. The proposal was auspiciously accepted by MDEC and received the advantage of quick approval as an upshot of its brilliance. That marks the new beginning and on November 16th 2009, Axisthink Sdn. Bhd. was born. Standing on solid foundation, Axisthink is ready to take on more challenging multimedia, graphics, and 3D tasks.
